Keisha's Story
Beyond her literary and musical achievements, Keisha dedicates her time to promoting literacy awareness and supporting underserved communities through her writing and educational services. As a veteran educator with a decade of experience in Special Education, she noticed the inequities and achievement gaps within educational institutions, inspiring her to be the change she wishes to see in the world. She has written two books on these topics, and her ultimate goal is to establish a Community Resource Center that provides educational services and individual support for literacy to disadvantaged communities. The center will serve as a hub for writing services and access to computers, empowering individuals to learn and develop their reading and writing skills.
